Fast Lane Audio Visual Ltd agrees to hire the equipment items on the following conditions:
Insurance
It is the responsibility of the hirer to insure all goods hired for all risks arising during the hire period or any extension. The owner does not provide any insurance cover for the goods hired.
Delivery
It is the responsibility of the hirer to satisfy him/herself that the goods are in good working order and that the goods are not damaged in any way before accepting delivery. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that they are fully conversant with the operation of the goods and any loss or damage arising from incorrect operation of the goods shall be the responsibility of the hirer.
Breakdown
Any breakdown or unsatisfactory working of the goods must be immediately notified to the owner. Under no circumstances shall the hirer repair or attempt to repair the goods unless authorised by the owner in writing
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing and notification sent to the owner no less than 1 week prior to the event.
In the case of late cancellation please note the following charges will apply:
Cancellations made within a 24 hour period of delivery will be subject to the full cost of the hire. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the event will be charged @ 50% of the hire price quoted
Charges for lost, stolen or damaged goods
Goods not returned will be charged at the current manufacturers published price list and hire fees incurred up to the time the loss was notified to the owner will also be charged. The owner will charge the damage to the Hirer of the goods. In addition, hire fees will continue to accrue until the owner is able to repair or repair the lost or damaged goods.
